Neelesh Agrawal is the CEO at Calculus Carbon, a Temasek portfolio firm specialising in institutional financing in large-scale, commercially aligned Nature-based Solutions (NbS) projects across the Global South. Owing to his extensive experience in fund raising for asset-intensive sectors including Infrastructure & Real Estate, Calculus Carbon was founded to evolve NbS transactions structurally to mimic the investment frameworks inherent in such mature asset classes.
Prior to Calculus Carbon, Neelesh was an asset manager for a $2.2 billion Real Estate investment vehicle sponsored by CPPIB, preceded by a career in Investment Banking focused on raising equity and structured debt financing for large scale infrastructure assets spanning Wind Energy, Hospitality, Roads and Telecom.
