Arpit Soni
Associate Director
cCarbon
Arpit is the Associate Director of Client and Market Insights at cCarbon, where he leads efforts to provide actionable market intelligence on the latest developments in clean fuels and carbon markets. With over a decade of experience in carbon markets and policy, Arpit has worked across diverse functions, including public policy, consulting, project management, and business development in government, private, and non-profit sectors.
Prior to joining cCarbon, Arpit was part of Amazon’s worldwide sustainability team, driving sustainable transportation efforts as part of the company’s 2040 Net-Zero strategy. Before that, he served as a manager at the California Air Resources Board, where he led the policy and regulatory development of California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and advised national and sub-national governments on designing similar climate programs.
Arpit holds a Master's in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Energy Engineering from NIT Bhopal.
