Charlotte Lehmann

Charlotte Lehmann joined Mirova in 2022, bringing deep expertise in carbon finance and structured products. A pioneer in the carbon markets, she launched and led the carbon business at Natixis from 2006 to 2012. During this time, she built and managed an extensive portfolio of carbon credit purchase agreements (ERPAs) across primary markets and designed innovative structured products to support European corporates in achieving their emission reduction targets.
Over the course of her work, Charlotte was involved in more than 40 projects across Asia and Latin America. She implemented rigorous project selection processes and signed over a dozen ERPAs representing more than 15 million tCO₂e. Her portfolio management expertise included navigating delivery, issuance, registration, counterparty, and political risks.
Following her work in carbon finance, Charlotte served as Executive Director within the Strategic Equity Capital Markets team at Natixis CIB, where she led the origination and structuring of collateralized financing and derivative transactions for corporate clients.
Charlotte is an engineer by training, a graduate of École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, and holds a Master’s degree (DEA) in Modelling and Mathematics Applied to Economics from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
