Doug is a lawyer with deep substantive experience advising large corporations and private equity funds in complex transactions and joint ventures. After spending a decade with two DC-based law firms, Hogan Lovells and WilmerHale, Doug joined Vesta to focus his talents on reversing climate change. Doug holds a law degree from the University of Colorado (Order of the Coif) and an MBA from Saint Louis University. Prior to becoming a “deal” lawyer, he served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Nathan B. Coats (Ret.) of the Supreme Court for the State of Colorado. Doug has a passion for collaboration and looks forward to putting that passion to work in future collaborations with Vesta’s partners and larger network of stakeholders.
