Esben Brandi leads Business Development for BTG Pactual Timberland Investment Group (TIG), where he works at the intersection of institutional capital, forestry, and natural capital strategies. He brings more than 20 years of experience in global timberland investment and land-based value creation across developed, emerging, and frontier markets.

Over the course of his career, Esben has helped shape and deploy forestry and natural resource investment strategies in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, including roles spanning pension fund portfolio management, advisory work, and direct investment origination and acquisition. His experience gives him a practical perspective on how nature-based solutions can deliver carbon sequestration, biodiversity outcomes, and long-term economic value.

He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Forestry from the University of Copenhagen, along with an interdisciplinary diploma in Tropical Land Use Management.
