Rui is the Deputy Head of the Energy Transformation Business Group and Head of the Energy Innovation Initiative Europe at Sumitomo Corporation Europe, based in London. He has nearly 30 years of experience spanning industrial manufacturing, trading, M&A, and business development, including around 20 years in the automotive sector. He leads initiatives focused on building next-generation, carbon-neutral businesses and serves on the boards of companies developing CDR solutions.
